‘Moonlight Sonata’ – Ludwig  van Beethoven…1801 – Easily one of the most beautiful piano pieces ever written.  A soft piece with a haunting, halting piano that starts at the 26 second mark.  It wasn’t called Moonlight Sonata until 1832, 31 years later. The formal name is Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, 1st movement.
